A procession should once again travel through the capital. The activists are called to meet at 6:00 a.m. at the Brussels-Central station. The unions expect an influx similar to that of last Tuesday, when 800 police officers demonstrated.

According to a representative of the ACV / CSC Police, the authorization to demonstrate was accepted. The route of the procession is still being discussed with the local police, according to the SNPS.

Since this week, the police unions have been carrying out daily actions against the unsuccessful salary negotiations and against the reform of the end-of-career regime within the police. They also denounce a lack of resources.

A meeting Thursday with interior officials did not help matters. Actions are therefore still expected next week.

The unions are due to meet soon the Minister of the Interior, Annelies Verlinden, back home this weekend after a working visit to the United States.
