Planned for the next 10(!) years in the MCU: This is what Marvel fans can expect after “Doctor Strange 2”

MCU boss Kevin Feige announced that he would plan ahead for the next ten years in the MCU – and the biggest highlight could make “Avengers: Endgame” seem like a joke.

After “Avengers: Endgame”, the previous highlight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced a plan until 2024. In the course of the last few years and months, it has also taken on more and more form in public, especially since 2024 is only two years away anyway. Accordingly, it is time for a new timetable and it will be bigger than ever.

Because at the CinemaCon 2022 Kevin Feige announced that the current MCU plan until 2032 should go, so it will cover a whole ten years! According to Collider’s Steven Weintraub, Feige announced that after the event, Feige will be heading to a Marvel Studios retreat to work on MCU entertainment for the next ten years. Of course, we don’t yet officially know what exactly awaits us in this period, but many projects have already been announced and some others can be guessed at with relative certainty. Our video gives you a glimpse of the near future of the MCU:

You can look forward to all these MCU films and series

The following titles we already know for sure that they will come:

That’s quite a lot. Also expect us “Marvel’s What If…?” Season 2, “Loki” Season 2 and possibly also other seasons for some series that are still starting. Of course, it is also conceivable that new characters such as She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) and Ironheart (Dominique Thorne) will have their own films after their series. Especially since a number of characters who were previously in the second row could get solo projects, just think of Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) from “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, for example, who is apparently becoming the new Falcon. The intergalactic superhero nova will soon be making its MCU debut, but the question is whether it will make a movie or a series.

“Spider-Man 4” is also planned, although Tom Holland would first have to extend his contract. Fans also continue to await the big arrival of the X-Men in the MCU, with Professor X (Patrick Stewart) making it into the MCU for the first time thanks to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Despite the rather moderate success of the first part, “Eternals 2” is still conceivable. In addition, the new Black Widow Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) could still get her well-deserved solo project, an adaptation of the Young Avengers around Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) is also possible.

Of course we can also come with you Avengers 5 plan, Kevin Feige has already announced that this film will definitely come at some point. It is even conceivable that a new Avengers saga awaits us in the next ten years, once the new generation of Marvel troops has been sufficiently established. It may then go up against Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who will make his debut as a major multiverse villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania after we saw a version of him in Loki . Of course, it’s also possible that Kevin Feige still has an ace up his sleeve and that another mighty villain like Galactus might make his debut.

Within ten years we could also expect the heart project of “Avengers: Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo: “Secret Wars”. In the popular comic series, a number of Marvel heroes and villains have been transported to an alien planet by a cosmic entity known as The Beyonder, where they will do battle in The Hunger Games-style, until only one more *r was left of them. By 2032, those responsible would definitely have enough time to establish a corresponding number of characters in order to realize this gigantic spectacle, which, according to the Russo brothers, would easily trump “Endgame” in terms of its dimensions.

So fans can be excited to see what Kevin Feige and the others in charge in the Marvel Studios retreat will come up with. But the message is clear: the MCU is far from thinking about retiring, and that’s all too understandable given its recent box office successes.
