No longer really in the smell of sanctity in Tottenham, Tanguy Ndombele wants to leave Spurs. His situation alerted PSG and OL …
Since his transfer from Lyon to Tottenham for 60 million euros in July 2019, Tanguy Ndombele has had some good times at Spurs. But overall, the former OL midfielder never managed to really win at Tottenham. In this month of January 2022, the divorce seems consummated between Tanguy Ndombele and the London club since the British press has been announcing for a few days that the native of Longjumeau wishes to leave Tottenham. Information confirmed by The Sun, which cites six clubs potentially interested in a transfer of Tanguy Ndombele to the winter transfer window. And two Ligue 1 teams are on the list: Paris Saint-Germain, often associated with the French international in the past, as well as Olympique Lyonnais.
Ndombele wants to leave Tottenham
As for Paris Saint-Germain, Tanguy Ndombele could in particular be a good track for the Parisian club in the event of Georginio Wijnaldum’s departure this winter. Even if this is not the trend, a last minute transfer is not to be ruled out for the Dutch international, courted by Newcastle as well as by Arsenal and who has not yet won at PSG after his long adventure at Liverpool. For its part, Olympique Lyonnais could welcome Tanguy Ndombele only in the form of a loan with partial payment of salary. The conditions would therefore not be optimal for Tottenham but the British media indicate that if Spurs do not find another point of fall in Tanguy Ndombele, then the Lyon solution could be chosen at the last minute. As for the player, he is also motivated by the idea of leaving Tottenham to find playing time and a level more in line with what he is able to do. Newcastle, AS Roma and AC Milan are also cited as possible destinations for Tanguy Ndombele this winter.
