Pelé celebrates health after removing a tumor at age 80: "I feel better every day"

Skin celebrated health, at age 80, by reassuring internet users on social networks, this Wednesday (11/17), after having recently removed a tumor in the intestine.

The former football player underwent surgery to remove the tumor on September 4 and was discharged from hospital a little over four weeks after the procedure. He is still undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

On his Instagram, he says: “Friends, it’s been a while since we’ve talked about this. I want to let you know that I’m fine. I feel better every day. I don’t think even the mask for my protection can hide my happiness. all of you, who send me good energy daily.”

When he was hospitalized, Pelé even updated his fans about his health: “Good mood is the best medicine and I have plenty of that. It couldn’t be different. of gratitude,” said the ace at the time.

While at the hospital, he also dyed his hair, which was gray, and posed beside the nurse, Henrique, who was responsible for the care: “Look who dyed their hair today to look better and soon, get out of here! With the super Nurse Henrique who takes care of us at night! Several steps forward and starting the second stage of recovery,” wrote his daughter, Kely Nascimento.
