One is the narcotic star of the film ‘Crazy Bear’, the other is the endearing companion to the Irish stars of ‘Banshees of Inisherin’: both a bear and a donkey are on stage. If the donkey was real, the bear was embodied by an actor in a coarse costume, which illustrated according to the director of “Crazy Bear” Elizabeth Banks the importance of digital cinema. “Without the special effects, this is what the bear would look like,” she joked.

Colin Farrell, who plays the main role in “The Banshees of Inisherin”, did not fail to send a tender kiss to the donkey, which however was not the one playing in the film, assured the specialized magazine Variety, citing a source familiar with the matter.
