Six months from the end of his contract, Houssem Aouar could leave OL during this winter transfer window for nearly 10 million euros.
Relaunched by Laurent Blanc since his induction as Olympique Lyonnais coach, Houssem Aouar has found playing time. Systematically aligned as playmaker by the new OL coach, the French attacking midfielder never however, did not shine whether against Lille, Rennes, Marseille or Nice. Six months from the end of his contract, the adventure seems to be over for Houssem Aouar in Lyon. Jean-Michel Aulas has no intention of extending the contract of the former French international, who is heading straight for a departure. It remains to be seen when Aouar will leave OL: this winter in the event of a good offer or next summer, for zero euros at the end of his contract. In this case, a new trend is emerging according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
Milan offer 8 million euros for Aouar
As we headed for a departure of Houssem Aouar at the end of the season for zero euros, it would seem that a transfer of the attacking midfielder from OL from the winter transfer window cannot be ruled out. Indeed, the Italian newspaper with pink pages reveals in its edition of the day that AC Milan is ready to make an offer of around 8 million euros to secure the services of Houssem Aouar from January. With this offer, AC Milan’s objective is to get ahead of the other courtiers in the middle of OL, who are waiting for them until the end of the season in order to recruit Houssem Aouar for zero euros. Bétis Sevilla or AS Roma have recently expressed their interest in recruiting the Lyon attacking midfielder, who could finally join Milan insofar as OL should not be too demanding and have a good chance of accepting this offer from Lombard club. As for Aouar, the prospect of joining the reigning Italian champion is quite unexpected and it is therefore difficult to imagine that the Lyonnais will refuse this very good offer.
