Arriving in Turkey to sign for Galatasaray a few hours ago, Léo Dubois is officially no longer an Olympique Lyonnais player. Indeed, this Thursday evening, the Rhone club confirmed the departure of its former captain.

“Olympique Lyonnais informs of the transfer of its French international defender, Léo Dubois, to the Turkish club Galatasaray for an amount of 2.5 M€, to which may be added a 1 M€ bonus, as well as an incentive of 10 % on any future capital gain.
Trained at FC Nantes, Léo Dubois arrived free of any contract at Olympique Lyonnais in July 2018. Hired for 4 years, he had extended for two additional years the following season after having honored his first selections for the French team.
During his time at OL, the right-back, now 27, played 129 matches in all competitions and scored 5 goals. Captain many times in the colors of Lyon, Léo Dubois also has 13 selections for the Blues, with whom he won the League of Nations in 2021.
