‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’: What are the cameos in the LAST episode of the series? Check out!

The final episode of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘ finally brought the long-awaited rematch fans have been waiting for between the Jedi Master lived by Ewan McGregor and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen).

Still, the biggest surprise of the ending was the cameos of Liam Neeson and Ian McDiarmidreprising their roles as Qui-Gon Jinn and Emperor Palpatine, respectively.

There were two major theories about how Neeson would return: through flashbacks or as a ghost of the Force, as it is said in ‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith‘ that he is the one who taught Kenobi to communicate this way after his physical death.

In the first episode of the series, we see Kenobi trying to get in touch with his former master, murdered by Darth Maul (Ray Park) in ‘The Phantom Menace‘.

And Kenobi finally succeeds in his attempt when he returns to the Tatooine desert after emerging victorious from his second duel against Vader.

Enjoy watching:

As he returns to the desert planet, the Jedi is amazed to see the image of Qui-Gon watching him and saying that he has always been by his side, hoping that the former pupil would be able to see him – something Kenobi was only able to after accepting. Anakin’s loss to the Dark Side.

Finally, Qui-Gon tells Obi-Wan that they have a long way to go, indicating that the characters will continue Kenobi’s training to gain the same skill as the master.

Palpatine’s cameo comes when Vader returns to his castle on Mustafar after defeat, ready to destroy the galaxy in an attempt to reconnect with his rival.

However, the Sith Lord receives a message from Darth Sidious, who is unhappy with his rampant obsession with the old Jedi.

The cool thing is that the Emperor is presented through a hologram, in the same way we know him in ‘The Empire Strikes Back’.

And he orders Vader to give up his quest in order for him to disassociate himself from everything that bound him to Anakin Skywalker.

Remembering that all episodes of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ are already available on Disney+.

The plot is set 10 years after the dramatic events of ‘Revenge of the Sith‘, when Kenobi secluded himself on Tatooine after his duel with Anakin to keep Luke and Leia hidden from his father and Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid).
