During an interview with Cinemblend, Christensen shared some background relating to his performance: “I was in the bacta tub and I was completely immersed in the water, I had to hold my breath for a long time. For some reason I couldn’t breathe through the respirator. ”
“When I saw Ewan in the tub it looked like he was actually getting oxygen through his because I could see the bubbles rise to the surface.“continued the actor.”But I had to hold my breath and I really enjoyed it. I mean, the tub scene was kind of a meditation session“.
“I enjoyed the whole process which allowed me to finish the bacta tub scene. We knew I had to hold my breath, so I had to work with a diving instructor for a few days.
