Nuit Blanche 2022: A swing for Molitor, an immersive installation by Annie Sperling

It is an unusual, immersive and poetic installation that awaits you near the famous Molitor swimming pool in Paris on Saturday October 1, 2022. On the occasion of the Nuit Blanche, the artist Annie Sperling unveils “A Swing for Molitor” , a work of art enhanced by the performer Kitten de Ville.

Each fall, the Sleepless night fills the eyes and ears of contemporary art lovers. This year Sleepless night returns to Paris on Saturday, October 1, 2022 with a beautiful series of visual and sound creations spread across the four corners of the capital and even beyond.

In the west of Paris, the most curious will be able to discover “A Swing for Molitor” the time of a unique evening. Behind this facility at once immersive, poetic and surreal, we find the talented American artist and artistic director, Annie Sperling. Some surely know her thanks to her collaborations with David LaChapelle, but also Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga or even Travis Scott.

For the White Night 2022 in Paris, Annie Sperling therefore imagined a work of art inspired by the famous “Garden of Delights” by Bosch. Combining video mapping, sound and light, this show reveals a seventies aesthetic, and a “liquid light show” Insured by mad alchemy by Lance Gordon.

While soft colors illuminate the Molitor swimming poolthe space lives to the rhythm of the psychedelic rock music of mason rothschild, which is not his first collaboration with Annie Sperling. The whole of this fascinating universe is activated by the performer City Kitten, famous artist from neo burlesque. The latter will join the swing moored at the edge of the Molitor basin.
