Novel ‘Pantanal’: Talarico! José Lucas lowers Juma’s defense by declaring himself to his brother’s girlfriend

In the soap opera ‘Pantanal’, Juma (Alanis Guillen) will be disconcerted when José Lucas (Irandhir Santos ) declares himself for the pantanal. The two became close since the jaguar girl had an accident. The problem is that she is the girlfriend of her brother, Jove (Jesuíta Barbosa). That’s what the official website of the plot says.

Juma will also be attracted to the pawn. Especially after she and Jove had a disagreement: “I free you from our love, Juma Marruá…”, said the son of José Leôncio (Marcos Palmeira). In the next chapters, the daughter of Maria Marruá (Juliana Paes) will get pregnant. Know who the father is.

Zé Lucas and Juma will take a boat ride in the late afternoon and get closer. The boy will tell about his childhood in the house of prostitution, that he is an orphan of his mother and that he found his father, José Leôncio (Marcos Palmeira), by chance after being robbed by a gang on the road.

Zé Lucas will declare himself

“Are you alone in this world, Zé Luca?”, she will ask, now, very softly. “I always have been. I discovered now that I have a living father and two brothers, but I haven’t gotten used to that idea. Of not being alone anymore”, he says, who is identical to his grandfather (Osmar Prado).

“And a woman… Have you never had one?”, Juma will ask. “I had some… Here and there. But, wherever I went, I never left a trace of homesickness”, the worker will reply. “Does that mean you never really loved anyone?”, the pantaneira continues.

“I thought I loved it, Juma, but when I set foot on this land, I realized that I didn’t”, says Zé Leôncio’s son. “Why?” she will ask. “Because I saw your smile”, the pawn will say, leaving her unarmed.

Old man from Rio will save his grandson’s life

The Velho do Rio (Osmar Prado) will save José Lucas’ life. He also saved Jove from death. In the plot, his eldest grandson will be at risk of death after being shot by a henchman of Tenório (Murilo Benício).

“You’re not going to die, José Lucas. You’re not going to die, because your time hasn’t come yet. Hang in there. You’re a Leôncio! A Leôncio! You’re not going to give in without a fight!”, says the old man.

Later, José Lucas will regain consciousness, but he will still be confused about what happened to him. “I had the impression that I had died”, the pawn will say. “You weren’t dying, you were being born to life again”, the entity will respond.
