New season of ‘Slasher’, inspired by Jack the Ripper, wins bloody trailer; Check out!

O Shudder released the full trailer for the 5th season of the anthology horror series ‘slasher‘, entitled ‘Slasher: Ripper‘.

The next cycle will officially debut on april 6th.

The plot will take place in the 19th century and will star Eric McCormack (‘Will & Grace’).

The actor will play Basil Garvey, a charismatic tycoon whose success is rivaled only by his ruthlessness, as he oversees a city on the brink of a new century, and a social upheaval that will see its streets run red with blood.

The plot will follow a murderer stalking the streets, but instead of preying on the poor like Jack the Ripper, the Widower will deliver justice against the rich and powerful. The only person standing in the killer’s way is Detective Kenneth Rijkers, whose unshakable faith in justice could end up becoming yet another victim.
