However, Screen Rant was at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 and had a chance to check out this material.

According to the site, the teasers promise a very faithful adaptation, with scenes taken directly from the comics.

Adaptation of a work by Neil Gaiman

It is worth remembering that Neil Gaiman, the creator and writer of the comic books, is one of the producers and writers of the Netflix adaptation of Sandman.

The writer, from the beginning, promised a close approach to the source material, albeit with a few changes here and there.

The only big difference is that in the Sandman series, the story of Morpheus is brought into modern times.

Sandman hits Netflix on August 5th.
