National Pollera Festival will be held this Friday, July 22

Long live Tables! Undoubtedly, in the month of July the city of Las Tablas breathes the air of festivity and revelry due to the traditional patron saints of La Moñona, better known as Saint Librada and of National Festival of the Pollera 2022.

Starting with the traditional mass, in which the queens of Calle Arriba and Calle Abajo participated, paying tribute to the patron saint of Las Tablas, Santa Librada.

For her part, the Queen of Calle Abajo de Las Tablas 2023, Jennifer Massiel González participated in the parade as part of the activities of the patron saint.

It should be noted that, together with the National Pollera Festival, the National Pollera Day will be celebrated for the first time, which falls on Friday, July 22.

Activities that will take place this weekend in Las Tablas:

Friday July 22

  • 2:00 pm – Skirt contest, Margarita Lozano Medal at the Auditorium Gymnasium, Las Tablas.
  • 8:00 pm – SM allegorical car ride. María Natalia Espino Batista, national queen of the skirt 2022.

Saturday July 23

  • 5:00 pm – Street Tuna to the Auditorium Gym
  • 7:00 pm – Victorio Vergara Batista Accordion Competition
