In the third episode of the first season of Ms. Marvel, when Damage Control agents visit the mosque Kamala Khan is at to ask a few questions, they simply walk in without taking their shoes off.

In a mosque, this is considered disrespectful, as people say their prayers on the carpet, which must always be clean.

The scene is a way of showing how the agents of Damage Control had no regard for the culture or faith of those people.

This was noticed by many fans. Through Twitter, according to the loopersome netizens expressed their discomfort.

“The scene with the agents walking around the mosque with their shoes made me feel sick,” commented a netizen, who also shared a print of the moment.

Another person agreed, saying, “Yes! My God, I was panicked throughout the whole scene.”

Series with Iman Vellani

The series by Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani, who takes on the role of Kamala Khan. The actress has been receiving praise for her portrayal of the character.

After Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani will also appear as Kamala Khan in The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel.
