MP Weather News: Bhopal (Navdunia Representative). Monsoon activity has increased once again in the state. During the last 24 hours, at most places in the districts of Shahdol division of Pradedga, at many places in the districts of Jabalpur and Gwalior divisions, at few places in the districts of Bhopal, Sagar, Indore, Ujjain and Chambal divisions and in the districts of Hoshangabad and Rewa divisions. It rained at some places.
According to meteorologists, an area of depression has formed in the Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area is present over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat. Monsoon Trough is passing through Shajapur, Seoni. Another trough is passing through Madhya Pradesh from Arabian Sea. According to meteorologists, due to the active of these four weather systems, the process of rain will start in many areas including eastern Madhya Pradesh today. There is a possibility of rain in the entire state from Tuesday.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding heavy rains in 22 districts including Sehore, Rajgarh, Katni, Jabalpur, Betul, Alirajpur in the next twenty-four hours. Apart from this, the possibility of rain and thundershowers has also been expressed at isolated places in the districts of Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, Rewa, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in the capital Bhopal as well. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a further increase in rain activities till September 15-16.

Ajay Shukla, former senior scientist of the Meteorological Center, says that an area of depression has formed in the Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area is present over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat. The Monsoon Trough is extending from the system over Rajasthan from Shajapur, Seoni, Pendra Road, Sambalpur to the depression over Bay of Bengal. From Arabian Sea to Gujarat, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha to Bay of Bengal. With these four systems being active, there is a possibility of rain in the state for a week.
