At the end of September 2020, Michel Drucker was undergoing a heavy heart operation, namely a triple coronary bypass surgery. A heavy test on which the host of “Vivement Dimanche” has confided on several occasions. After a solid re-education, it was unthinkable for someone who sometimes jokes about being “sold with the television set” not to exercise his profession which he loves more than anything. This is why on March 28, Dany Saval’s husband was happier than ever to take back the controls of his flagship show “Vivement Dimanche”.
Today, the host has recovered and he does not intend to stop there. Proof of this is that Michel Drucker will be back on stage on January 14, 2022 to play his show “From you to me”, at Espaces V in Villepinte. During an interview with Le Parisien this Sunday, January 9, Michel Drucker returned to his desire to set foot on the boards.
A desire which is not to the taste of his wife: “My wife thinks I’m masochistic. She said to me, ‘After everything you’ve taken, do you need this fatigue and stress?’ Stress, it was he who took me to the pool table. And being alone on stage is the most terrifying exercise “, he recognizes easily. However, the host is reassuring and argues that his stay in the hospital has taught him to put into perspective: “But my anxieties subsided. What’s the worst that could happen to me? “, he blurted out.
