Mercato: Casemiro is waiting for the phone call from PSG!

Under contract with Real Madrid until June 2025, Casemiro is still a captain of the Merengue. But the Brazilian would like a change of scenery …

Zinedine Zidane’s departure has left its mark in Real Madrid’s dressing room. Some players have put up with it quite well, such as Karim Benzema. This is less the case for other soldiers of the French trainer, like Casemiro. And for good reason, El Nacional reveals to everyone’s surprise that relations are far from perfect between the boss of Real Madrid and his coach Carlo Ancelotti. The two men have a cordial and professional relationship, but it is not crazy love as it was for example the case with Zinedine Zidane. So, after eight years at Real Madrid, the former Sao Paulo player is reportedly considering a change of scenery. And PSG could be an ideal destination for Casemiro, who would find many of his compatriots in Paris with Marquinhos or even Neymar.

Casemiro, the midfielder that PSG lacks?

For Catalan media, there is no doubt that Casemiro would be open to a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The problem is that the club from the French capital would not have submitted any transfer proposal to Real Madrid to afford the solid and rough Casemiro. Rumors have often linked the Brazilian and PSG, but no concrete proposal has recently been submitted by the Paris club. In addition, another giant of Europe would be in the footsteps of the defensive midfielder of Real Madrid, it is Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp appreciates Casemiro’s style of play as well as his mentality, and believes that the Real Madrid player would fit in perfectly with his system. However, then again, it’s the soup to the face for Casemiro, who has learned from the mouths of his agents that the Reds have not drawn an official proposal either. It remains to be seen if everything will settle now that Casemiro’s desire to leave has eluded. For PSG, this is certainly a unique opportunity to recruit – finally – the successor of Thiago Motta in midfield.
