PSG posted on its Twitter account images of the two players entering the grounds of the training center located in St-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) with the words: “Welcome back to training”.
Returning to the club in the wake of the World Cup, the two players had taken part in the two matches of PSG in Ligue 1 against Strasbourg (2-1), on December 28, and in Lens (3-1 defeat), the 1st January, before being offered ten days of vacation.
Very close, Mbappé and Hakimi have notably been seen in the United States, in New York, where the French striker was able to measure his international notoriety by attending an NBA match between the Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs.
Before kick-off, images of the World Cup final, during which Mbappé had distinguished himself with a hat-trick despite France’s defeat against Argentina, were shown on the giant screen in the hall, prompting an ovation for the PSG striker.
Mbappé and his Moroccan teammate had also received jerseys from Nets superstar Kevin Durant, who came to greet them and pose for a few shots.
The Parisians’ next match is scheduled for Sunday in Rennes in L1.
