Matsuri, the new Japanese festival at the Cité Fertile

This summer, the Cité Fertile is hosting the very first edition of the MATSURI FESTIVAL! In the program ? Street food, shows, music, games, stands of small traders and… a lot of Japanese alcohols. MATSURI is an event with free entry, festive, colorful and gourmet, which will appeal to young and old alike, with family or friends! We look forward to seeing you from July 2 to 4, at the Cité Fertile de Pantin!

Whether you are a fan of Japanese cuisinea fan of japanese sake or you are simply looking for an event where you can come and have fun with your family or friends, MATSURI is made for you and waiting for you!

Throughout the weekend, the event will be divided into 3 spaces: SAKE STATION, KURA-MASTER and OMITTED.

Two spaces of Japanese liquor tastings of high quality (including 800 references of prestigious sakes selected during the great Kura Master competition) and a large space of stands of Japanese street food (Kunitoraya, Jyu, the Kintaro group…) will welcome you to delight your taste buds! After MATSURI, the subtlety and delicacy of Japanese spirits will have no more secrets for you.

different activities and games (both for the little ones and for the older ones!) will be offered on July 2 & 3, all punctuated by different shows of danceslive painting, or taikoas well as conferences on the tourism in japan: a weekend to travel and marvel, surrounded by intoxicating flavors and smells!

And be careful… On Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., the various spaces will close their stands to make way for MATSURI NIGHT: An electric evening against a backdrop of DJ Sets, all accompanied by joy, laughter and…sake!

July 4 will be reserved for professionals, with conferences on koji and Japanese alcohols, as well as food pairing workshops.

The SAKE STATION and KURA MASTER tastings are freely accessible for the day upon presentation of the tasting glass (sold for €12 at the entrance to MATSURI).

Come stroll through the stands, glass of sake in one hand and takoyaki skewer in the other, and marvel at all the entertainment!
