Matrix 4: The world of machines even more dangerous than in the original trilogy?

The first trailer for Matrix 4 allowed us to find Neo and Trinity, eighteen years after the events of the third part. Back in the movie Lana Wachowski, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will however have changed greatly and that like the Matrix. According to the first official images, this one looks much more dangerous than in the previous films. Indeed, several clues unveiled in the trailer seem to have teased the evolution of the Matrix in this fourth installment, starting with its technological but also scientific modernity.

It is clear that the new simulation of Resurrections relies more than ever on technology. We see it through the behavior of humans but also through the cloning of Trinity or the arrival of a rejuvenated version of Morpheus played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The official title of the film could also be a clue to how dangerous the Matrix is. If there is indeed a good chance that Resurrections is an obvious reference to the comeback of Neo, this could also be a clue that could tease the new emergence of a much more formidable Matrix. The original trilogy differentiated the real world from the simulated world via color-coded palettes, using blue and green hues.

However, this format established in the early films now seems outdated, with Neo’s world strangely resembling our reality, making it more difficult to distinguish between the real and the Matrix. The cinematography of Matrix has also changed considerably, this being able to be a symbol of modernity and therefore of dangerousness for our heroes. The difference between reality and simulation seems to be more and more complicated to distinguish, especially since Matrix 4 should do social media review. Thanks to the advancement of technology in recent years, Lana Wachowski seems to have breathed new life into this mythical saga of cinema, while offering it an even more formidable antagonist!
