James Spader is an actor with a great career in film and TV, who made a big comeback in Black List, a series of great popularity.
Like Raymond Reddington, the actor receives rave reviews from critics and audiences. However, at Marvel, James Spader was not so lucky.
The actor voiced Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. His work has received praise, but the villain has ended up being wasted in the MCU, at least so far.
Ultron is one of the main enemies of the Avengers in the comics, but in the movies, it only appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and was soon discarded.
Many fans feel that Ultron has not had a good run in the MCU, especially having an actor as talented as James Spader as his voice.
Will Ultron Return in the MCU?
Of course, it is always possible for everything to change. There are rumors that Marvel Studios may be planning a return to Ultron soon.
However, as far as we know, officially, these plans are not yet concrete. And it may even be that James Spader does not return as the voice of the character.
Avengers: Age of Ultron was successful at the box office, but it didn’t get as positive a reception as the other chapters of the Avengers saga in cinema.
For a good part of the public, some creative decisions were wrong or, at the very least, questionable.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is now available via Disney+.
