Marvel Star Says He’d “Love” To Be In Star Wars

Chris Evans has played the Human Torch, Captain America and now Buzz Lightyear. But there’s still one universe he wants to be a part of: Star Wars.

The Marvel star said he would “love” to be in Star Wars and doesn’t seem to be too keen on a specific role.

In fact, Evans said he would even play a stormtrooper, or a wookie, in conversation with MTV.

“Yeah, why isn’t there Star Wars? God, I would love to be in Star Wars!” Chris Evans said in response to MTV.

“I would do anything to be even a stormtrooper, I would be thrilled.” He later added a preference, saying, “Yes, I would play a Wookie. Everything is fine. Just put me in Star Wars. I would do it”.

Star Wars Saga Expands on Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor returns to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the same one he had in the Star Wars prequel films. The series, which will be on Disney +, intends to tell what happens between these long mentioned and the classic trilogy of the saga.

In addition to having Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader, the cast includes several well-known Hollywood names, such as Sung Kang, from Fast and Furious, Rupert Friend, from Homeland, and Joel Edgerton.

The series follows the life of the beloved Jedi ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. So fans will know what happens to Kenobi until the classic trilogy, when the Jedi trains Luke Skywalker.

The same goes for Darth Vader. Fans should thus see a villain in the making during the Star Wars series.

A curiosity is whether the series can show a child Luke. Although Kenobi took time to find the apprentice, the jedi was always watching, even from afar, the son of Anakin.
