Marvel 2025 Plan Revealed: Blade Movie, Daredevil Series And More Finally Have Start Dates

That was an incredible show at San Diego Comic-Con for Marvel Studios: Kevin Feige revealed the future schedule of the MCU. And it’s massive!

How do you fight the onset of maturity? Usually people have a good shot of espresso. And how is fatigue combated in the cinema? With a massive announcement at San Diego Comic-Con. At least that has always worked for Disney and Marvel Studios. And again this year, three years after the last appearance, before the corona pandemic brought the entire (film) world to its knees, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was frenetically celebrated by the fans. No wonder he gave them what they’ve been waiting for (via deadline). The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is as strong as ever:

“I’m incredibly excited. We were here three years ago and it’s been a hell of a long time since then. There were moments when I asked myself: ‘Will I ever be in Hall H again?’ And the answer, thank God, is yes.”

The Infinity Saga is followed by the Multiverse Saga

The “Infinity Saga” ran for eleven years, contains 23 films and includes Marvel phases 1 to 3. The subsequent saga was appropriately named “Multiverse Saga”, as Feige revealed. In fact, the brand name has already been registered. This includes all films and series of Marvel phases 4 to 6 from 2020 to 2025.

The Marvel Phase 4, which was weaker for many in direct comparison with the previous Marvel phases of the “Infinity Saga”, will end on November 9, 2022 found with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. So this Marvel phase served to herald what follows. Without any communication, this has hardly been apparent so far, even for fans.

While it was clear that Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), introduced in the MCU series Loki on Disney+, would serve as an overarching enemy à la Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the multiverse would have a weighty role, even on fans the films and series within Marvel Phase 4 seemed somewhat unrelated. How did the general public have to feel then? You just have to look at how Marvel Phase 1 went. It’s no different in the current one – only that alongside the films there are also live-action and animated series. Check out the amazing and emotional trailer for the Marvel Phase 4 finale, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, once again:

Marvel Phase 5 starts with “Ant-Man 3” and ends with “Thunderbolts”

Now that the direction the MCU is taking is clear, the question is where to go from here. In addition, Feige revealed the schedule for Marvel phases 5 and 6 at SDCC.

The Marvel Phase 5 Movies:

The Marvel Phase 6 surprises with two “Avengers” films

The big surprise first: In Marvel Phase 6, which concludes the “Multiverse Saga”, there are two “Avengers” films with “Secret Wars” and “The Kang Dynasty”. This means that the developments around Kang the Conqueror will pick up speed here, which is reflected directly in the first film.

The Marvel Phase 6 Movies (all US theatrical releases):

  • “Fantastic Four” marks the beginning with a theatrical release on November 8, 2024
  • Untitled Marvel film February 14, 2025
  • Avengers: The Kang Dynasty am May 2, 2025
  • Untitled Marvel film July 25, 2025
  • Avengers: Secret Wars am November 7, 2025

Wow, there’s a lot coming for Marvel fans. Insanity! However, the whole thing was somewhat clouded by the fact that there was no mention of “Deadpool 3”, the X-Men or “Shang-Chi 2”. This suggests that fans of the mercenary with the Kodder snout in particular will still be around at least until the February 13, 2026 have to wait when the Marvel phase 7 with a still unknown film before they can see it in action on the big screen. Unless, of course, Ryan Reynolds and his team occupy one of the three dates that have not yet been named. So fingers crossed!

If only he could have seen it all. How familiar are you with Marvel legend Stan Lee’s cameo appearances? Test your knowledge:
