MARMOE 2022, the Montreuil Arts Month festival for children

The MARMOE festival (Month of ARTs of Montreuil for Children) returns for an edition in 2022, from November 9 to December 4. On the program: theatre, exhibitions, workshops, shows, screenings and many other events for children, in 26 places in the city.

The city of Montreuil organizes another event for the youngest: MARMOE, the Montreuil Arts Month festival for children 2022.

This sixth edition of the festival which promotes thecultural awakening of children is being held this year from November 9 to December 4, 2022 in more than 23 cultural places in the city, such as the Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil; the Municipal Theater Berthelot Jean Guerrin or the cinema Le Méliès.

On the program: from theaterof the musicof the readingsof the exhibitionsof the workshopsof the showsof the projectionsof the performances of contemporary art and living arts, and round tables, for so many discoveries. In total, more than 60 performances are scheduled!

The idea of ​​this cultural meeting ? Make culture a challenge for the future to form thecritical thinking of young spectators; and open the doors of the knowledgediscovery and emancipation.

This year, “the house is cardboard” caught our attention. This immersive installation offers your children the opportunity to decorate and embroider the house of a little man from November 16 to December 3, 2022, at the Tignous Center. Otherwise, there is also the visit to the “XD” exhibition by Julie Sas and thefree family art workshop which is offered at the Maison Populaire on Saturday November 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., for children from 6 years old accompanied by their parents. All you have to do is register by email ([email protected]). Finally, thefree workshop “Embroider your Marmoe” teaches you as a family to embroider on a postcard from 7 years old. It takes place on Saturday November 26, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center Tignous d’art contemporain.
