The lifeless body of the 71-year-old businessman was discovered in his villa in Las Terrenas, in the north of the island. According to local media, he was killed following a burglary that went wrong. The man suffered several serious head injuries and officers found strangulation marks around his neck. That night, the burglars managed to break into Mario Oliver Jutard’s safe and walked away with Rolex watches and several other valuables.
