The man who threatened to jump from a 15-meter high scaffolding on De Brouckèreplein in Brussels has returned safely to the ground floor. This is reported by the Brussels fire brigade.

The man had climbed onto the scaffolding around noon and threatened to jump, but a federal police negotiator was able to convince him to come down. He was taken to safety via a fire ladder and then taken to hospital.

It is about the same man who climbed into a mobile crane on De Brouckèreplein on Saturday evening and then had to be brought down by the fire brigade.
