‘Made for Love’ Canceled by HBO Max After 2 Seasons

THE HBO Max officially canceled the series’Made for Love‘ after just two seasons.

“We are extremely grateful for this incredible journey over the past two seasons, especially Alissa Nutting, Christina Lee, Cristin [Milioti]Billy [Magnussen]Ray [Romano] and the entire cast and crew of ‘Made for Love’ – including Zelda the Talking Dolphin and Diane. Like the Gogal chip, this series will forever remain in our minds.” declared the HBO Max in an official statement.

In the new season, Christina Leewho served as showrunner in the first cycle, will share the role with Alissa Nuttingauthor of the book on which the series is based.

The plot revolves around Hazel Green, a woman who escapes her marriage to Byron Gogol, a sociopathic billionaire, after discovering he has a chip implanted in her head. The chip in question allows Byron to access Hazel’s brain as she takes refuge in her hometown to care for her widowed father.
