One of the aspects of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power that has generated quite a bit of controversy is Galadriel’s armor, which appears in several images in the series. Producer Lindsey Weber countered this question.
Weber talked about the armor during San Diego Comic-Con 2022 (via Digital Spy), indicating that she is not necessarily the elf herself.
“I think it’s something the internet hasn’t considered yet. It’s not her armor actually, it’s a gift from someone else,” Weber said during the panel.
The controversy arose when fans noticed that the armor has something similar to the star of Fëanor’s family.
Therefore, the star would never be used by an elf who has problems with the house of Fëanor. That said, it hasn’t been revealed who exactly the armor is from.

Big-budget The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is considered one of Amazon Prime Video’s biggest bets. Perhaps even the biggest in the streaming service’s history.
The investment is no accident. In both cinema and literature, The Lord of the Rings is one of the greatest sagas in pop culture.
In cinema, Peter Jackson directed the saga The Lord of the Rings. However, he had no direct involvement in the development of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power arrives on Amazon Prime Video on the 2nd of September.
