Iran is the best off the starting blocks, no great opportunities Iran tries to push Wales into their own half. We have not yet seen great opportunities, but the Welshmen are suffering. |

Remarkable: the Iranian players sang their national anthem this time, but very subdued. Tears rolled down the Iranian fans’ wagon in the stands. The protest against the regime therefore continues. |

With four games, another busy World Cup day is on the menu. Wales and Iran bite the bullet. The bet is very simple: you have to win.
Especially for Wales it is a game that absolutely must be won. The Dragons aspire to the next round, but got stuck on the opening day with a 1-1 draw against the United States. A new misstep against Iran is therefore not an option.
Perhaps this time Rob Page will choose Kieffer Moore from minute one. The striker of AFC Bournemouth had to against Team USA start on the couch. After a terrible first half, Wales was only able to make a fist after coffee – and partly due to Moore’s contribution.
Iran, on the other hand, has to make amends after the heavy 6-2 defeat against England. However, the Iranians can relax towards the duel. As a weak brother in the group, they have nothing to lose. For the sake of completeness: Alizera Beiranvand is out of action. The former goalkeeper of Antwerp FC suffered a broken nose.
Can Wales put Iran aside and thus keep a view of the next round? Or will Iran surprise the Welsh? Via THIS LINK you can already try the prediction.
