LIVE Bihar Panchayat Election Result 2021: Counting of votes is being done on Sunday after the first phase of Panchayat elections in Bihar. A total of 11 phases will take place (see full schedule below), with the first phase of voting held on September 25. Counting of votes is going on since morning for 151 panchayats in 12 blocks of 10 districts. The first result has come from Aurangabad. Ramkumar Choubey has won from Ward 10 of Padarwan Panchayat of Sadar block of the district. This election is being done through EVMs. Therefore, it is believed that by the evening the complete list of winners will be revealed. However, the Election Commission has also made full preparations that the counting of votes can go on till Monday. Tight security arrangements have been made at all the counting centers.
Earlier, the State Election Commission completed the process of deputing the counting agents of the candidates at the counting centers. According to the commission, 65.50 per cent voting has taken place in the first phase of panchayat elections.

Aurangabad: Ramkumar Choubey has won from Ward 10 of Padarwan Panchayat of Sadar block of the district. There are 1.26 lakh voters in this block. Polling has been held in 227 booths. The fifth round of Zilla Parishad is going on, so far Nasreen Nisha is leading in the count.
Sasaram: Counting of votes is going on from 8 am. The officials along with the counting personnel started arriving at 5.30 am. Supporters of Sanjhauli and Dawat block are standing at the main gate of the market committee with garlands of flowers since 8 pm.
Gaya: There is a huge crowd outside the counting centers in Belaganj and Khijrasarai blocks.
