‘Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya – The Beginning‘, the first live-action feature film of the ‘Knights of the Zodiac‘, began to gain premiere dates around the world.
The film opens first in Japan on April 28thand Sony Pictures has just confirmed that the French premiere will take place on May 24th.
In Brazil, the film still has no forecast.

The film won a poster that highlights the protagonist mackenyu (‘Circle of Fire: Uprising’) as Seiya, the Bronze Saint who owns the Pegasus armor.
The cast also has Famke Janssen (‘X-Men: The Last Stand’), Sean Bean (‘Game of Thrones’), Mark Dacascos (‘John Wick 3: Parabellum’) and Nick Stahl (‘Fear The Walking Dead’).
The film accompanies Seiya, an orphan who lives on the streets and receives a call after a cosmic energy awakens within him. the protagonist embarks on a journey to conquer the ancient Greek armor of Pegasus, and chooses his side in a supernatural battle for the fate of Athena (Iseman), a young woman struggling to control her powers.
Originally, ‘The Knights of the Zodiac’ emerged as a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. It was originally published from 1986 to 1990, and adapted into an anime by toei animation from 1986 to 1989.

The series tells the story of mystical warriors called “Knights”, who fight wearing sacred “Armor” based on the various constellations. The Knights their mission is to defend the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena in her battle against other gods of Olympus, or of other mythologies that intend to dominate the Earth.
