The John Wick franchise continues with Keanu Reeves in the lead role, and director Chad Stahelski, from the fourth film in the saga, had only one goal for the new film: to make Reeves suffer.
“We keep finding new and interesting ways to make John Wick suffer. That’s where the action comes from. Find out how to make him suffer and then project backwards.”, says the filmmaker in interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I came up with some ideas, like, ‘Let’s go horseback riding in the desert’ or ‘Let’s drive a little.’”, says Keanu Reeves himself, who also participated in the film’s creative process.
The first trailer for John Wick 4 was released at CinemaCon, which took place in the United States recently. However, the version for the general public has not yet been released on the internet.
