‘John Wick 3‘ ended with John being betrayed by Winston and, after barely surviving some serious injuries, teamed up with King Bowery to bring down the organization once and for all.
In an interview with Esquire, Keanu Reeves revealed that the fourth film will start with a big action scene in the desert.
“Let’s start with a grand opening sequence. John Wick is back in the desert and will be riding a horse. It will look like the motorcycle escape from the third movie. I hope to be able to gallop and run at the same time,” he said.
With the footage of ‘John Wick 4‘ finalized, the possible title of the sequence may have been revealed. Some members of the film’s team received gifts from the production, which bear the title ‘John Wick 4: Hagakure‘.
Hagakure is an old Japanese word that refers to a book written by Yamamoto Tsunetomo, Japanese samurai born in 1659 and died in 1719.

Remembering that Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins e Clancy Brown have been added to the cast, so Wick must either face one of them on his journey or enlist their help.
The sequence will also bring the return of Laurence Fishburne as King of Beggars, Lance Reddick as Charon, the concierge of the Continental Hotel, and Ian McShane as its manager Winston.
Although the details of the sequel are under wraps, the previous film ended with Wick (Reeves) being shot by Winston, who apparently betrays him in allegiance to the High Summit.
Then the continuation will show the developments of this turnaround.
Chad Stahelski returns to direct and promised a film to live up to the franchise:
“We are satisfied with the action sequences and we don’t want to miss it. I want to be a better director, but that doesn’t mean the sequel will be less action,” stated.
The 3rd movie in the franchise, ‘John Wick: Parabellum‘, became a box office hit, grossing US$ 326.7 million worldwide – with a budget of $75 million.
