Karsten Ree has bought the daughter out of the company

After seven years with all his four children close to his business, Karsten Ree has now bought his daughter out.

It writes Finance.

A review of the owners of the holding company Karsten Ree Holding B ApS in the CVR register confirms the information.

The holding company, which is the largest in Karsten Ree’s portfolio, covers ownership of eTilbudsavisen, Ree Automobiler and Ree Golf.

In 2016, the daughter Rikke Hesselund Ree became part of the company. She owned between 10 and 15 percent.

Karsten Ree’s sons, Christian, Oliver and William Ree, each own 27 percent.

BT has contacted Karsten Ree for a comment, but at the time of writing he has not returned our inquiry.

On Wednesday, a review of Karsten Ree’s latest accounts showed that the rich man had lost a billion in a single year with his investments.

This meant that the value of Karsten Ree’s three companies, investments and securities is now only DKK 2.8 billion, whereas in 2020 they were worth DKK 3.73 billion.

In the annual report from the company, it was also suggested that they were not completely satisfied with the result.

“Management had expected a positive result for 2021, and the result is thus not in line with expectations.”

It is especially the war in Ukraine that has created unrest in the stock market.

Before that, it was the corona pandemic that was tough on the stock market and thus Karsten Ree’s fortune.
