John Stamos complains about Bob Saget’s absence from "In Memoriam" from the Tony Awards: "Disappointed"

John Stamos showed all his frustration at the fact that his friend, the actor Bob Saget, not being included in the “In Memoriam” segment of the Tony Awards, held on Sunday night (12/06). The actor, with whom Stamos worked on “The Big One,” died in the first half of this year.

“Disappointed to hear that Bob Saget will be left out of the In Memoriam segment tonight @TheTonyawards. Bob was brilliant in ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ and ‘Hand to God’. Please @BroadwayLeague and @TheWing! Do the right thing! Bob loved Broadway and I know the community loved him.”

Although Saget is most recognized for his work on television, he has also worked on Broadway on two occasions: in 2006, Saget took on the role of Man in Chair in “The Drowsy Chaperone”, and in 2015 he replaced Marc Kudisch as Pastor Greg.” in “Hand to God”.
