Power Rangers: 10 things you (maybe) don’t know about the saga

Walter Emanuel Jones, interpreter of Zack/Black Ranger, said: “My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family“.
To the TMZ site he added: “He was an inspiration to so many people. He will be greatly missed and so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family. Jason was one of the most pranksters on the show. He had a crazy sense of humor. We had ups and downs but he was always available to listen to others if they needed it. My prayers go out to his family and to all who will be missed“.

Steve Cardenas instead stated: “Words simply cannot describe the shock and sadness I am feeling right now. Jason David Frank is, and always will be, an icon. He has dedicated his life to the Power Rangers brand and, above all, to his fans. Jason was the first person to greet me on set in 1994 and then introduce me to social media, comic-sons and event promoters around the world so that I could reconnect with all of you fans like we did in the past. I will forever be grateful to him. Wherever he went he gave his fans an experience they will remember for a lifetime. He elevated the franchise to a pop culture phenomenon. He was a good soul and my brother, on and off screen. The Ranger Nation has lost a true hero. We are all shocked by this shocking news. My heart goes out to Tammie, her family, our family and all of you. I will forever be grateful to you, J. I hope you finally have the peace you have been seeking“.
