The news came after participating in the Latin Grammy 2022, where she presented the ceremony.
“First I want to thank all my fans, you are amazing and without you, and my whole country, Brazil, I wouldn’t be here today. It’s the first time we have a Brazilian winner here. Second, I want to thank my team and my family and myself, who worked so hard,” she said.
“And also dedicate this award to the other nominees that I love so much. Becky G, my friend that I love so much and who deserves it. Rosalía, and everyone else. There’s no winner if there aren’t people nominated here for doing a wonderful job. Thank you,” said.
