The video shows a reporter investigating Anna Delvey, accused of trying to steal millions of dollars by posing as someone she wasn’t. The reporter meets the girl who arrived in the United States in New York without having any knowledge or support from a wealthy family, managing to obtain financing and loans by deceiving the people around her.
Inventing Anna, by Shondaland, consists of 10 episodes lasting 60 minutes, and the series is signed by Shonda Rhimes and the executive production will be handled by Betsy Beers.
The main cast consists of Anna Chlumsky (Veep – Incompetent Vice President) in the role of the journalist Vivian, Julia Garner (Ozark, Dirty John) in that of Anna Delvey, who gives her name to the series, while Katie Lowes (Scandal) is Rachel, a follower of Anna willing to do anything; Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black) plays Kacy Duke, manager of celebrities and life coach sucked into Anna’s whirlwind, and Alexis Floyd (The Bold Type) is Neff, an aspiring director.
