International matches: The Orange can take a big step towards the next round

The coming period will be dominated by the World Cup in Qatar. On behalf of Ajax, 12 players may participate in the global tournament. National coach Louis van Gaal has included no less than seven Ajax players in his World Cup selection. Belonging on behalf of the Amsterdam club Remko Pasveer, Jurriën Timber, Daley Blind, Kenneth Taylor, Davy Klaassen, Steven Berghuis and Steven Bergwijn to the selection of Orange. In the group stage of the World Cup, the Netherlands will play against Senegal, Ecuador and Qatar. The opening match against Senegal was won 0-2, partly thanks to a goal by Klaassen.

Dusan Tadic belongs to the official World Cup squad of Serbia. The Ajax captain managed to place himself as number one in a qualifying group with Portugal for the World Cup. Serbia will play Brazil, Cameroon and Switzerland in the World Cup group stage. Brazil lost 2-0.
