Indore, Naidunia Representative Indore News. A special program was organized by the organization Malavamanthan on the occasion of World Ozone Conservation Day. As part of the event, medicinal plants were planted in the Government New Law College. Pracharya Dr. Inamur Rahman said that in the race for development, we are also promoting destruction on the earth together. Our consumerist lifestyle is damaging the ozone layer.
The whole world is affected by climate change and the only solution to this crisis is greenery. Pro. Swapnil Vyas said that our culture emphasizes not on exploiting nature, but on supporting it. The central mantra of Indian tradition has been that we should preserve natural resources, not exploit them. We created trouble for ourselves by ignoring this principle. This led to the depletion of the ozone layer and the formation of the ozone hole.
Because of this, crises like global warming and climate change have arisen. This is the only solution to this problem and saints have also mentioned in the Puranas that greenery should be increased. Trees are the friend of mankind and only greenery can bring us out of this crisis. Trees give us oxygen, which helps in reducing the effect of carbon and protects the ozone layer. Majorly planted medicinal plants included Peppermant, Adusa, Guarpatha, Ajwain, Ashwagandha, Giloy, Lajwanti, Shatavari, Shami, Parijat, Insulin, Lemon Grass, Patharchata, Tulsi, Amla, Belpatra, Paan etc.
