Indore, Naidunia Representative, Indore News. Senior child dentist of the city Dr. LD Gupta was honored by the office bearers of the Indian Pediatric Dental Association in a program held in a private hotel in the city on Sunday.
At the age of 83, Dr. Gupta did BDS and MDS in Pidodontics from Panjab University. After this he came to Indore in 1963 and since then worked in Government Dental Hospital. He retired from college in 2005 and served in Modern Dental College. During his lifetime, Dr. Gupta treated children by doing private practice for a very small fee. Presently Dr. LD Gupta is the senior most Pediatric Dentist in the country. He has served for about 57 years. Presently he lives in Anoop Nagar. To honor him, the secretary of the association, Dr. Nikhil Srivastava (Delhi) and the president, Dr. Dhanurao (Bengaluru) came to Indore.
Due to old age, it was not possible for Dr. Gupta to travel at present. Because of this, he has been respected by the officials in Indore itself. On this occasion, former National President of Dental Council of India Dr. Ashok Khandelwal, members Dr. BM Srivastava, Dr. Alka Gupta, office bearers of Dental Association Dr. Anoop Vyas, Dean of Government Dental College Dr. Deshraj Jain, Dr. VP Jalili , Dr. Subhash Garv, Dr. Dhodapkar, Dr. Anuradha Agarwal and many senior doctors of the city and state were present. Dr. Kamlesh Badonia conducted the program. Dr. Arpana and Reema Gupta proposed vote of thanks.
