There were sacred moments of emotion this Thursday, July 21, 2022 in “Les 12 coups de midi” on TF1. Especially at the start of the program with the presentation of Sabine, an ambulance attendant from Lyon. “I think this show is a little bit yours Sabine because it was important at a particular time in your life…“, asks Jean-Luc Reichmann. With a lump in her throat, the candidate explains that she was off work for a long time following a liposarcoma, a cancer of the soft tissues which develops in the fatty tissue which is found everywhere in the body and which mainly affects adults between 40 and 60 years old.
“It was difficult because it was during the Covid period and I only saw people in masks and it is true that it is very boring and it caused me a lot of pain. And I was looking forward to noon, a little before noon because you gave me back my appetite and it gave me a lot of good humor and I managed to eat when I saw you“, explained Sabine on the verge of tears before concluding: “I’m so happy to be here today, I made the promise and I got there.“
Touched by the immense emotion of the candidate, Jean-Luc Reichmann then somewhat jostled the precautionary health codes to take her in his arms. “I know we shouldn’t…”, indicates the host who could not help but tenderly embrace the paramedic. “You saw we are here, I am alive“, specifies with humor then the companion of Nathalie Lecoultre. “Ah yes you are there and you are hot“, then launches Sabine as she holds his hands. “I’m boiling hot, you see?“, chants the host causing some laughter in the audience.
Galvanized by this beautiful moment of complicity with Jean-Luc Reichmann, Sabine reached the final where she held off the midday master who ended up winning at the end of the suspense and thus won the right to continue her victorious course.
