According to Entertainment Weekly, Disney+ is working on a series of Giants of Steel, the beloved feature film with Hugh Jackman. The project is still in early development.

It remains to be seen whether the project is a sequel, a spin-off or a reboot of the Giants of Steel. What is also unknown is whether Hugh Jackman will have any kind of involvement.

Giants of Steel did not have a huge box office success at the time of its release, but it has become quite popular with the public in recent years. A sequel to the movies was discussed for a long time, but now we know that the project being developed is actually a series.

Director Reveals Ideal Replacement for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Who would Matthew Vaughn choose as a new Wolverine? In a new interview, the director of X-Men: First Class, Kingsman and Kick-Ass has revealed who would be the “ideal replacement” for Hugh Jackman in the role.

These are very well-known names. All of them have also worked with Matthew Vaughn.

“He’s older now, but I would say Tom Hardy would have been amazing,” the director told Comic Book.

“I think Taron Egerton could also play the character easily. Aaron Taylor-Johnson would also be a good choice. I think Aaron or Taron would be my first two choices, they could play the character really well.”

Today, Tom Hardy is best known for playing Venom at Sony. Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver in the MCU, and is now signed to play Kraven, also at Sony.

Of these actors, the only one who has never played a Marvel character is Taron Egerton. He has already shown interest in bringing the new Wolverine to life, but has made it clear that he does not believe he will be chosen.

While Matthew Vaughn didn’t stay long with the X-Men franchise, he did launch one of his own with Kingsman: The Secret Service. The prequel King’s Man: Inception has hit theaters.

King’s Man: Inception has had many delays in its release because of the pandemic.

Despite the great cast, King’s Man: Inception has become heavily criticized. Still, it is confirmed that Kingsman 3 is already in development.
