Hilarie Burton Morgan has decided to respond to Candace Cameron Bure’s recent statements regarding the Great American Family network, without sparing anyone.
Recent statements by Candace Cameron Bure about his work for the Great American Family network stunned America, receiving a very strong recent warning from Hilarie Burton Morgan.
The announcement of the Bure stating that his “television house” will not highlight gay couples, avoiding to offer them any main role, has inevitably aroused various controversies, inspired by the idea of “keep the traditional wedding at the center”.
In relation to all this, Hilarie Burton Morgan defined Candace Cameron Bure and her network, on her Twitter profile “bigoted and disgusting”: “I don’t remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. Of course. Think of the money first, honey. Ride the wave of prejudice all the way to the bank.”
This statement ties in with the reasons Cameron Bure used to justify his move to the Great American Family, saying that it is “Christians who love the Lord and want to promote faith programming and good family entertainment”. Even the founder of the channel himself, Bill Abbott, confirmed this view on the exclusion of gay couples from the programs, saying that it is only about “trends 2022”.

Hilarie Burton Morgan also responded to this statement: “Now they’re just openly admitting their fanaticism. I brought this shit up years ago when Abbott was at Hallmark. I’m glad they dumped him. Being LGBTQ is not a ‘trend’. That guy and his network they’re disgusting. So are you, honey. There’s nothing untraditional about same-sex couples.”
