The Carnavalet Museum participates in the 39th edition of Heritage Days on the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022. The Museum of the History of Paris offers you for the occasion visits to discover its collections.

The opportunity to discover the most Parisian of museums, after a major four-year renovation. Appointments made on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022 for a series of visits to discover the museum’s collections.
You will then immerse yourself in the incredible history of this museum and its works, but also at the same time in that of the capital. Be careful though: even if there are no reservations, the number of people per group is limited. Regarding visiting hours, the museum invites you to discover its essentials at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Recently reopened, after four years of restoration work, the Carnavalet Museum is the most Parisian of the capital’s museums. Its vocation is to make known the history of Paris, from prehistory to the present day and in its most diverse aspects. Historical in essence, the Carnavalet Museum nevertheless remains an art museum, essentially presenting original works, faithful to the genius of Paris.
