Your new school
A school in Walsall is looking for an ICT and Maths teacher to join their team on a long-term, temporary basis, 2 days a week. The school, which is rated ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED is a fantastic school which puts its students at the heart of the school, aiming to ensure students reach their full potential. Although there is a strong focus on students excelling academically, the school also aims to install the skills students need for life outside of school, giving them the knowledge and skills they need to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. The school is also part of a multi-academy trust which consists of 6 Secondary Schools in Walsall, with the trust sharing the views of the school in creating the right atmosphere for development.
The school is located close to the centre of Walsall, making it easily commutable by both car and public transport and is less than a 10 minute journey by bus from St Paul’s Bus Station.
Your new role
This role will be part-time 2 days a week, on a long-term, temporary basis. You will be teaching ICT and Maths to KS3 students. This role would require an experienced maths and ICT teacher who is able to deliver engaging lessons to help the students’ progress towards their goals. As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students’ progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you’ll need to succeed
