After Black Widow, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) to make another MCU appearance in the series Hawkeye, centered on the characters of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). Given the events seen in the post-credits scene of the blockbuster dedicated to Natasha Romanoff, we can guess that their meeting will not take place in a very warm atmosphere. That was confirmed in half words by recent comments from Rhys Thomas, the director of the Disney + series, during an interview with GamesRadar +. When asked to discuss Yelena’s arrival he said “I can’t talk about that. But we know their past, and what happened in Endgame of course. We know that in the first two episodes Clint has to face the consequences of all this.”
He pursues “But as to how they’re going to meet, I can’t. I’m going to pretend I don’t know. Imagine it’s a happy meeting, where they chat over coffee and settle. things.” Something tells us that it is the complete reverse of this description that we will be able to see in the series. Black Widow’s sister-in-law is indeed expected to attempt by all means to kill Hawkeye. Knowing what she is capable of, she might just do it if the Avenger fails to reason with her.
Neither is to blame, however. It was in fact Valentina Allegra de Fontaine who introduced Clint to Yelena as being responsible for her sister’s death. Did she do it on purpose or is this the version she heard? Hopefully things can actually work out between the two heroes, who share their love for Natasha. See you on November 24 on Disney + to discover the first two episodes of the series Hawkeye.
