Hawkeye: Jeremy Renner reveals the Marvel movie he no longer wants to see

The “Hawkeye” series debuted this Wednesday, November 24 on Disney +. Jeremy Renner is reprising his role as the former Avengers alongside Hailee Steinfeld. The actor revealed in an interview which Marvel movie he never wanted to see again. And we understand it.

Hawkeye: a new MCU series on Disney +

The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is now being written both in theaters and streaming. Indeed, the studio with big ears is now betting a lot on its Disney + platform to unveil its future content. Phase 4 of the MCU has also been launched with the series WandaVision directly on Disney +. The idea is that the different programs are connected, and become dependent on each other. Thus, the events of WandaVision will have repercussions in Doctor Strange 2, like those of Falcon and the Winter Soldier will have it on the rest of the MCU. As Hawkeye, the new Marvel series, the first two episodes of which are already available.

In this new series, Jeremy Renner finds his character of Hawkeye aka Clint Barton. He has a new mission: to return to his family for Christmas. He will be helped in this endeavor by Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer who dreams of becoming a superheroine. They’ll have to team up as a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail the festive spirit.

A film that marked the end of an era, with the departure of many superheroes, including that of Black Widow, his partner since the first Avengers. A feature film that the actor no longer wants to see, as the first (and only) viewing was difficult.
