Harry Potter fans can look forward to a major reunion for their 20th birthday. It has now apparently started shooting, which Malfoy actor Tom Felton shared with us.
The film adaptation of the first adventure of the magical student in cinemas around the world started 20 years ago with “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. In the following years, the total of eight films played a key role in the already great popularity of “Harry Potter” exploding again and making its story a worldwide phenomenon.

With a little delay, the stars of the films also celebrate this milestone in the official context, because quite a few well-known actors * come to a big one „Harry Potter“-Reunion together, which will air in early 2022. Shooting has apparently started recently, as a clear picture of Tom Felton reveals. He shared a snapshot of an already impressive trailer on Instagram, but what’s really interesting is who is right next to Draco Malfoy’s actor:
Felton shares a trailer with none other than the living Hollywood legend Gary Oldman, who played Harry’s godfather Sirius Black in the magical film series. He is also in the “Harry Potter” reunion, just like Helena Bonham Carter, whose character Bellatrix Lestrange is known to have Sirius Black on his conscience. We can be curious whether this death, which was responsible for many broken fan hearts, will also play a role in the meeting. Unfortunately, a number of stars cannot take part in the reunion because they have left us. Her previous co-stars will certainly remember her.
When does the “Harry Potter” reunion start?
There are two simple reasons why filming has only just begun: On the one hand, the reunion certainly doesn’t require a lot of post-production, as the stars more or less just indulge in memories and their statements then have to be cut together. In addition, the “Harry Potter” reunion will only be on January 1, 2022 broadcast on the US streaming service HBO Max. In Germany you will most likely be able to attend the meeting via Sky, although no date has yet been officially communicated in this country.
Hopefully we don’t have to wait at all, or at least not much longer, to see the “Harry Potter” stars again. Practically all the important actors are there: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), of course, as well as Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) as well as Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and many more. So fans can hope to learn some anecdotes and secrets about the making of the “Harry Potter” films.[display-posts orderby="rand"]
